Julie Felske, named to Northwood alumni post.

Julie Felske has been promoted to executive director of Alumni Relations at Northwood University, according to an announcement by Northwood University Vice President of University Advancement Arnold D'Ambrosio.

Mr. D'Ambrosio said: "Julie will head the alumni office and direct the program for Northwood. She has built outstanding experience and knowledge during her stay at Northwood and will be an asset as we expand the alumni program."

Felske earned her BBA in international business from Northwood University and has worked at Northwood for 12 years.

She has extensive alumni and networking experience and began working with alumni in 2001 while she was the communications manager at the DeVos Graduate School and created the "DeVos Alumni Quarterly" e-newsletter and hosted numerous events for DeVos alumni.

Ms. Felske was named the alumni director for the Michigan Campus and the Midwest region in 2006. While in this role she led the way in creating and revamping ten alumni chapters in the Midwest region, was awarded the Northwood University Innovation Award for the "ONE Northwood Alumni e-newsletter," and has focused on using online social media to communicate with and connect alumni.

As the executive director of Alumni Relations, Felske will now be in charge of the overall leadership and direction of Northwood University's alumni program.

"I am eager to begin my new role. This is an exciting time at Northwood as we expand by creating new alumni chapters across the globe, engage more alumni by building on their affinity for Northwood, and support its mission to promote free enterprise," says Felske.

She has been an active Frankenmuth Jaycees member since 2001 and is currently an advisor for the Northwood University Business Professionals of America student organization. She and husband Craig, and son William reside in Frankenmuth. ###
