Two community agencies that provide services to disabled individuals raised $10,000 for their operations at a golf outing at Bay Valley Golf Course last Friday.
Chris Girard, president and CEO of Do-All, said he was extremely pleased that 72 golfers had turned out to support the efforts of the two agencies.
Major sponsors were Wildfire Credit Union and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
"We had a good time and we're looking for more golfers for next year's event," he said.
Chairs of the outing were Hank Miller of Do-All and Mark Janke of DRC.
Winners of the flights were the Chemical Bank team led by Brent Gettles in the men's division; Two Men and a Truck, led by Ashley Anderson, in the mixed division; and Euclid Industries, led by Nadine Burzynski in the women's flight.
Do-All is giving away a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS tonight at the Kingfish in a 6 p.m. raffle event, he said.
