2010 Outdoor 3-Wall Paddleball Tournament Planned in LaGrange, IL

Chad Krager announced today that the annual (2010) Outdoor 3-Wall Paddleball Tournament is set to go in Illinois in September.

Krager, in a press release to local paddleballers, announced the possible/probable appearance from local Illinois greats Brad Stanfield, Jack Tamplin, Russ Tater & Tony Sindt.

"You do not want to miss out on the opportunity to witness this," Krager said.

In addition National Singles Champion Mike "WIZ" Wisniewski of Bay City is expected to play. Other Bay City Locals Randy Wackerle and Sandy DeGrief have also expressed an interest.

"We should have an all time record number of players this year," Krager went on. "I'm looking for 16 teams. All paddleball players should come out and support their sport."

When: Saturday, September 18th at 8:30am CST until finished (Last year, finals started at 9pm.)

Where: La Grange, IL (approx. 8 miles west of Chicago; or just 4 miles north of I-294/I-55 intersect)

Format: Doubles with modified grab bag (ie. A players draw a B player)

Cost: $20 per person; Entry includes tournament prizes, door prizes and lunch w/beverages. FREE ENTRY AND LODGING FOR ANYONE OUTSIDE OF 300 MILES!!!!

What to Bring: Personal Hydration to sustain yourself for 12 hours, sunscreen, umbrella, sweat towels, seating and anything else you can think of to pass the time between or after matches, such as bocce', bags, horseshoes, jarts, etc.

Directions: Take I-294 south from the I-290 intersection or Take I-294 north from the I-55 intersection and Exit at Ogden Ave.(aka. US-34) heading East...Continuing East on Ogden, go approx. 2.5 miles and you'll pass straight through the intersection of La Grange Rd.(aka. Mannheim/US-12/US-20/US-45)...anyhow, just past the intersection continue East on Ogden for approx. 100 yards and make a very slight left turn and continue another 100 yards to the bottom of the hill and the courts are right there.

Lodging: La Grange is a safe neighborhood, please call if you have any questions on other nearby locales.

Note: Alcohol is not allowed in the park, so please use your judgment as anyone with clearly marked containers of any alcoholic substances will have to be asked to leave the area.
