Justin Reed will provide leadership to the Youth Sports program.
 

Bay City, MI August 30, 2010 - Former Central High School athlete Justin Reed will provide leadership to the Youth Sports program of the Bay Area family YMCA this Fall.

His youth sports programs will begin the week of September 13th including Sports Camp for 4 - 6 years olds (Mondays 5:15 p.m.), Introduction to Soccer for 4 - 6 year olds (Mondays, 6:15 p.m.), and Introduction to Football for 4 -6 year olds (Wednesdays 5:15 p.m.)

He will also be responsible for the Y's Flag Football program for 7 - 12 years with games being played on Tuesday events beginning the week of September 21st.

Justin was an All Conference Varsity athlete in Baseball and Football while attending Central High School, as well as an All Conference College Baseball NJCAA while attending Jackson Community College. He is currently studying Accounting/Business at Delta College.

He has a Certificate for Law Enforcement/ Criminal Justice proficiency standards from the Bay-Arenac ISD as well as completing mentorships with the Bay City Police Department/Neighborhood Resource Center. Justin has worked as a part-time employee of the Bay Area family Y for the past 4 years.
