The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce supports quality education through its Business & Education Partnership. The Partnership founded as the Alliance for Bay County Schools links business and education. Bay Area Chamber businesses and school district representatives work together to provide opportunities for our area students. Without funds this partnership cannot exist.
The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation is working to raise $250,000 over the next three years. Your support enables the Business & Education Partnership to continue with initiatives such as County Wide School Board of Education Meetings, 8th Grade Career Day, Principal for a Day, Counselor/Employer Breakfast, Jerome L. Yantz Partner in Education Award, Reading is Bay County's Business, Plant a Seed - Grow a Community, Business and Education Forum, Opportunity Connection, Mock Interviews and the Great Lakes Bay Region Summer Institute.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at many levels and will be used to directly support the programs that support education. The partnership is vital to real life experiences for our students and to assist business and education to work together.
Contributions to the Business & Education Partnership are tax-deductible through the Bay Area Chamber Foundation. If you plan to use your donation as a deduction, please make your check payable to the Bay Area Chamber Foundation. Please note on the check that the funds should be directed to the Business & Education Partnership.
For more information on the fundraising efforts, please call Michael Seward, president and CEO of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. For information on the programs under the Business & Education Partnership, please contact Jo Ellen Strieter, director of education, programs and events.
