Pair Team to Repeat trip to U.S. Figure Skating Junior Championships: 12 year old Madeleine Gallagher of Bay City, along with her 17 year old pair partner, Jonathon Horton of Clawson qualified last Friday in Ann Arbor to compete in the 2011 U.S. Figure Skating Junior Championships.

Event to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah next month.

It is the biggest competition of the year for skaters at their level. The pair team competed at the Juvenile level last year, but due to Horton's age they had to move up to the Intermediate level this year.

Gallagher is a 7th grade honor roll student at Christa McAuliffe Middle School and represents the Sk8 Bay Figure Skating Club housed at the Bay County Civic Arena when she competes.

The pair team will be performing locally at a Christmas exhibition at the Bay County Civic Arena on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 1:30PM.

Admission is by donation.
