Karma Inc Apparel Supports Camp Hope. Camp Hope at Chris Neal Farm is Dedicated to Christopher Neal White.

Chris grew up on a farm in Eastview,Kentucky. That is where he developed his love for the outdoors and his passion for hunting and fishing. The antlers from the last deer Chris shot hang at Camp Hope as a reminder.

His friends remember him as "MR POPULAR." He was very athletic and played High School Football. He never met a stranger, and everyone knew Chris White.

Chris's father, Mike, spent 12 years in the Army, and Chris followed. He always wanted to be a Marine and he joined in May 2005. He was assigned to 1st Batallion, 1st Marine Division, 1 Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendelton. In January 2006 he deployed to Iraq.

On June 20, 2006, Chris, a Machine Gunner and 4 other Marines were riding in the last Humvee in a convoy in Al-Anbar Province when an IED exploded under their vehicle. Chris and 3 other Marines were killed. His Platoon Commander said he was an amazing young man, and will always be remembered for his dedication and pride in his unit.

He left behind his father Mike, Mom Galia and Brother Michael. The Brothers shared an extremely close bond. Michael said the love he had for all of us was so strong that he gave the ultimate sacrifice. Michael also said he was the greatest brother.

Chris's family has chosen to keep his spirit alive by giving Hope to disabled Veterans. Camp Hope was established in 2007 -- 70 miles south of St.Louis, in Farmington, MO. One Hundred Seventy acres are available year round for the use of Battle Wounded Veterans. Camp Hope is a non-profit corporation. Construction of the first Wheel-Chair Accessible cabin began in January, 2010.
