If you are familiar with the Coffee News Publication then you are familiar with the little (1 pica high) 'coffee news guy' - (Coffee News BILL) that is hiding inside the publication.
Readers who find him mention the ad they found him in and location of where they picked up the coffee news and have a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate.
Do-All Inc., who took over the Bay City Edition of the Coffee News franchise in October 2010, started their first publication on November 1, 2010. The coffee news is published weekly.
According to Chris Girard, President/CEO, a spin off of coffee news "Find Bill" will start this week, but only on a LARGER scale.
This time "Bill" stands approximately 6 feet tall and will be placed in various locations around the Great Lakes Bay Region -- where the Coffee News publication is distributed.
Take your picture with Coffee News Bill and post it to Do-All Inc. Facebook Page, and you will be in the drawing for a Coffee News T-shirt.
Girard said, "I purchased 'Bill' when I was in Maine at Coffee News School." (The Coffee News is a national franchise around the country) Girard continued, "He is part of a limited addition, I knew right away the promotion I would use him for."
"Using him as a creative marketing tool, we want to show appreciation to our coffee news advertisers and distributors and try to drive people to those businesses," said, Girard.
According to Girard, Bill was named after
Coffee News USA President Bill Buckley.
The coffee news Bill cut-out will spend one week at a undisclosed location and then move on.
