6th Annual Fitness Expo in Bay City & Late Registration for St. Pats Races

Time is running short. Only a few days left to get yourself organized for the 6th Annual Fitness Expo and the 38th Annual Al/Kayner's St. Pat's Races.

The Fitness Expo will be held at the Bay County Community Center on Saturday, March 19, 2011 From 10AM to 3PM. During that time, fitness and community health experts will offer support and help prepare runners and walkers for the upcoming 38th Annual Al/Kayner's St. Pat's Races on Sunday.

According to Ann Gasta, Race/Expo Director, Numbers are already ahead of last year! "Just about 3,000 have signed up already," Gasta said this week.

The St Patrick's Day Races will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2011 starting at 11:45am -- (Just before the Parade).

The following merchants & businesses will be attending the Fitness Expo:
Bay Area Runner's Club, Catholic Federal Credit Union, Impact Sound Entertainment, Crim, Team Beachbody, Cheesetown Challenge, Delta College lifelong learning, Bay City Rowing club, Baumans, A private fishing trip company, Carriage House Thelen, and more!

Runners/walker's may pick-up their packet for Al Kayner's St. Pats 5K and 8K races at the Bay County Community Center during the Fitness Expo. Late registration on race day will also be available.




The The leprechaun's run will be held on Saturday at 2pm - along JFK Drive (In front of Community Center, Bay City) This run is for kids ages 12 and under. Hurry -- there is still time to sign up!



Gasta said, "Medals are fabulous as they have been in the past! Finish line is designed a little different to create a more streamline effect.

Gasta continued, "St Pat's is going green in the next two years! We are encouraging people to sign up online and save paper!" According to Gasta, as many as 700 runners sign up on Race Day !
