America's national budget deficits will be the topic of the next Delta Debates Political Forum Series on Monday March 28 at Delta College.
America's national budget deficits will be the topic of the next Delta Debates Political Forum Series event, to be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Monday, March 28, in the Delta College Lecture Theater (G-160).

The forum will feature experts in the legislative, economics and political science fields discussing the ramifications of the national government?s $14 trillion debt on America's future and security.
"The headlines in recent weeks have been dominated with news of Republican budget cuts, raising of the debt ceiling and President Obama's budget, so we're pleased to help people make sense of it all at the forum," said Lisa Lawrason, Chair of the Delta Debates Political Forum Series. "We've got a great panel of speakers lined up, promising to deliver an engaging discussion."
The panel discussion will feature Rob Guido, Legislative Assistant to Congressman Dave Camp; Economics Professor Debasish Chakraborty, PhD, of Central Michigan University; Political Science Professor Chris Owens of Central Michigan University; and Economics Professor Scanlon Romer of Delta College. The forum will be moderated by Political Science Professor Robert Moore, PhD, of Delta College.
