I detest disclaimers.

The term disclaimer usually implies situations that involve some level of uncertainty, waiver, or risk. At this point in my adult life, when I see a disclaimer, I often feel like I just read a "BEWARE OF DOG" sign.

Results may vary.

It worked for someone else but I personally have no chance in hell.

Some restrictions apply.

My chances of winning that all-expenses-paid trip to to Orlando are pretty-much non-existent.

Wouldn't it be re-freshing if advertising promises were not always inflated?

Marie Osmond lost 60 pounds on Nutrisystem. (Results Not Typical)

Lose weight for just $1 a pound. Jenny Craig -- Kirsti Alley was one of Jenny Craig's spokespersons. (Results May Vary)

Every new car has a sticker on the window. Estimated highway Mileage: 45MPG (Actual Mileage Will Vary)

All sales commercials for new television sets on TV say Television Images are Simulated. or . . . Screen images simulated. (What you see is NOT what you get)

According to Wikipedia . . . "The first (Subway Sandwich) spot aired on January 1, 2000, introducing (Jared) Fogle and his story, complete with a disclaimer: "The Subway diet, combined with a lot of walking, worked for Jared. We're not saying this is for everyone. You should check with your doctor before starting any diet program. But it worked for Jared."

Investment Disclaimer: All investments involve different degrees of risk. Actual results and performance may be significantly different from historical experience and our present expectations or projections.

If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck and smells like a duck . . . then it probably is a duck.

You can't tell the depth of the well by the length of the handle on the pump.

If it sounds too good to be true . . . then it probably is.
