It WAS Like A Storm in Bay City this past weekend, but we are not only talking weather but the Band called "Like A Storm". The Band 'Like A Storm' hit Bay City on Friday night and was in full strength by Saturday night's performance (May 14, 2011) at the Vault on Midland Street in Bay City. This was the band's second time in Bay City at the Vault. (Opening bands were Silverspork, Born and Chainsaw Facelift.)
The band set the tone right away as they opened with "Chemical Infatuation," Like A Storm's first single. As Chris Brooks, singer, says, "The first riff comes in like a sledgehammer right into your skull."
Their first U.S. Tour was with Creed and Staind in 2009.
The rock Band is a native of New Zealand but reside in Vancouver, Canada. Currently the band is touring, they were in Fort Wayne Indiana, before hitting Bay City, and then next they are headed to Boston. They will stay in Los Angeles to write and record new CD.
The band also performed at a private concert in Bay City. Thomas Karanasos, Drummer, said, "The private shows are a good opportunity for us to get close to our fans and its a good contrast for us to show our musical side keeping in tune with our acoustically performance."
Karanasos said, they give Bay City Two Thumbs Up! "We will always have a reason to come back to Michigan and our fans in Bay City!"

(Above) The band stays true to their fans and stuck around after the show. Pictured above with Donna Sherman of Detroit. According to Sherman, she has seen the band when they were on tour with Creed, twice at the Machine Shop in Flint, and when they were on tour with Alter Bridge and traveled from Detroit to Bay City to catch their night's show at the Vault. Sherman said, "They are one of my favorite bands, I want to see them whenever I can and they are a great guys!"
