Sharrow, Doyle & Cunningham Combine Forces in News/Entertainment Market

"We're in the same business and we have the same customers," said Shawn Doyle of Last Choice Country Radio. "It makes perfect sense." Doyle & Josh Sharrow are co-founders of Last Choice Country INTERNET Radio.

And after a handshake, the two INTERNET news/entertainment companies will join forces as Great Lakes Bay INTERNET Media Group . . . effective June 1, 2011. INTERNET Marketing, Event Promotion, Community News and Corporate Branding will be the primary emphasis for the new company.

MyBayCity currently has 80,000+ visitors each month to their news and information INTERNET newspaper site and has been in live circulation since 2004.

Last Choice Country Radio is just over six moths old but has already taken over the top spot in the local area as far as INTERNET radio listeners is concerned.

"I've been at this (in Bay County) since 1976," Cunningham said. "It's time to step to the side and let the "youngsters' drive the boat." Cunningham has had previous success in Bay County with Sports Page Magazine, Bay City Enterprise and Bay City Homes Magazine.

Sharrow and partner Shawn Doyle have already successfully established themselves as Impact Sound -- a Disc Jockey/Music company that provides music and entertainment at local events.

"This partnership is a perfect match," Sharrow went on to explain. "Last Choice Country Radio has the sales and marketing energy that it's going to take to succeed," Sharrow said. "MyBayCity is already a proven marketable commodity," Sharrow went on. "It's a perfect blend of the two entities."

In December of 2010, LastChoiceCountry Radio moved its broadcasting studio to the top floor of the Battery Park Commerce Center, 509 Center Avenue in downtown Bay City.

"I'm really pleased how this has all come together," Cunningham said.
