Dear Joshua,

(Are you my Grandma? Nobody calls me Joshua!)

Our records indicate you're "getting on track financially"!

(Oh, Really?!)

You are now eligible for this offer with. . . WAIT FOR IT!!!

NO ANNUAL FEE!

I probably shouldn't use the name of the company who sent me this letter in this column, but let's just say their initials are, Capital One.

I'm sure that your Credit Card with 0% APR on all purchases until March 2012 will continue to help me on my path to Financial Freedom, that you apparently believe that I'm on currently!

It will lead me right to March, 2012 when the APR will reach up to 23% on all purchases. How does APR work, anyways? That is a topic I will save for a future column . . . I know you are looking forward to that!

After some research on Credit Cards from www.creditcards.com I find out that the Average credit card debt per household is $14,743. Is that all?! I know people who spend $14,743.00 on a bad date, on their credit card!

Listen, Capital One. The average APR on a credit card carrying a balance is only 13.44 percent. So if you believe that I'm truly getting my finances on track, you're trying to give me a detour.

So after applying for the card, I went out and purchased around $14,000 worth of hats with cash knowing that I won't need it after my Capital One card appears in the mail.

I wonder just how much credit card debt can I rack up before I can go to an attorney and just file for "Oops I racked up too much debt, now I don't want to pay it" Bankruptcy.

I hear that filing for bankruptcy is expensive.

I hope the attorney accepts credit cards!
