Energize Bay Area Young Professionals Network coordinated the popular sell-out golf event, now in its 3rd year. This was the first year the event was held at Bay Valley Golf Course.

Cathy Koebke, Director of Sales & Marketing for the Bay Area Chamber, registers a golfer, while another gets the kinks worked out with a chair massage before hitting the course

Lined up and ready to roll out to the course

Golfers began arriving in high spirits at 4:30, anxious to get out on the course and enjoy a great night. Jolene Bellsmith, (All About You Therapeutic Massage) loosened up tight muscles to those wanting a massage and then teams of 4 took to the course for a 5:00 start.

Yeo & Yeo hole sponsors, Gregory Marx and Rebecca Krawczak, offered Cornhole and cookies

Participants enjoyed 9 holes of golf and were further entertained by the games and contests that sponsors at each of the holes provided. Such things as "Furthest Marshmallow Drive" and the popular "Shark Bite" hole, were giving golfers some comical relief and some fun laughs.

Following the merriment on the course was a buffet dinner and door prizes donated by local businesses were given out.

Networking and fun after a great golf outing

Cathy Koebke, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Bay Area Chamber calls this event, "An opportunity for young professionals to network and participate in a fun event at the same time." She adds, "We have the best hole sponsors who create unique games and all around it's an affordable night for all who come".

The next Energize event is a Casino night presented by Energize, My Pros and Saginaw Valley YPN, on November 17th. Energize Bay Area also has a luncheon coming up on November 9th.

For more information how to join this group contact Cathy Koebke at (989) 893-4567.
