Since 1961 Delta College has been a shining example of what this region can accomplish when we work together. Delta will showcase its Technical, Trades and Manufacturing academic programs, along with Delta College Corporate Services programs and services.
Tour the facilities for a first-hand look at the College's new nacelle - a control unit that normally sits atop a large wind turbine and contains all of the generating components. The nacelle provides hands-on training opportunities in Delta's new Wind Turbine Technology Program.
Tours will also feature the chemical process lab. Delta has partnered with various area employers, including The Dow Chemical Company, Dow Corning Corporation, Dow Kokam and Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation. These partnerships are allowing the College to train employees throughout the region to meet industry production goals and high-quality standards.
Use both west and east Pioneer Gym entrances. There is no charge for this event.
This event sponsored by Delta College Corporate Services and Chemical Bank.
