If you had to drive anywhere Wednesday evening, you probably wished you didn't. A simple trip from Bay City to Mt. Pleasant - to pick up a family daughter at CMU - usually takes 2 hours but last night it took four! Travellers counted over 20 cars off the road between Midland and Oil City.
But today is Thanksgiving and the bright sun on fresh snow put an entirely new complexion on the world. It's the first snow of the year and it's beautiful.
Sources in Dallas reported 60 degreeswith bright sun there. Don't we feel sorry for them? Let's share the joy of new snow. Here are a few pictures.
