It was the Annual Taste & Theatrics on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the State Theater in Downtown Bay City. A celebration of culinary delights and cultural significance under the Big Tops in front of the State Theater.
Local restaurants, bakeries, & specialty shops, participated in the annual event serving Food, desserts, and beverages which were enjoyed by all.
The State put on the debut of the their new lighting system with a spectacular light show. Mike Bacigalupo, Executive Director, said, "The light show just was a tip of the iceberg what we can do!" According to Bacigalupo the first phase is completed and the second phase will be the side lights and the balcony lights.

The Stars of the State Theater Capital Campaign is a $250 tax deductible donation, and an engraved Star is placed on the back wall of the theater.

A little windy but comfortable temperatures on Washington Street in front of the State Theater, September 8, 2011 made for a great night of socializing and enjoying all the entertainment the State Theater provided
