Great wine, delicious food and good friends. All come to mind when you mention Downtown Bay City's Wine Walk! Feel Italian with a taste of Bolla Valpolicealla with Pasta Carbonara and Caprese Salad. Then stroll down the street for Cabernet Sauvignon and Port Dijonnais. How cool.

On Thursday, September 22, 2011, from 5 to 10 p.m., fifteen of Downtown's finest restaurants and pubs - the highest number ever! - will come together to create an evening of fine wine and food samplings. And there will be music throughout the street by Gregg Barber, Scott Baker & The Universal Expression, and The Swaggering Rogues.

Tickets are limited and a sold-out event is expected again this year. For $30 each attendee will receive two samplings of wine and food at participating locations, plus a souvenir 2011 Wine Walk glass.

Mulligan's Pub, 109 Center Ave.

Old City Hall, 814 Saginaw St.

Prime Event Center, 1201 Washington Ave.

Princess Wenonah, departing from Wenonah Park

Rattlesnake Rick's Roadhouse, 708 Saginaw St.

Riverfront Grille at the Doubletree, One Wenonah Park

Stein Haus, 1108 N. Water St.

Striker's Sports Bar & Smart Choice Catering, 1205 Washington Ave.

World Café, 200 Center Ave.

Ticket validation and souvenir glass pick-up at Studio 23/The Arts Center, 901 N. Water St. from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

St. Laurent Brothers, 1101 N. Water Street, will also be serving special treats during the Walk.

And to help make sure attendees don't miss a thing, complimentary limousine shuttles will be provided by Silver Sands Limousine!
