Do-Care Family Enrichment Center, a program of Do-All, Inc. is pleased to announce the newest program
Kids Arrive Safely. This program is designed to provide a new car seat to families facing financial hardship and unable to purchase a car seat for their child.
Kids Arrive Safely funded through the investment process with the United Way of Bay County.
There are a limited number of car seats available through this program. Families requesting assistance with a car seat must first be interviewed and provide proof of income and residency to determine eligibility. This program is available for Bay County residents only.
Do-Care Family Enrichment Center has formed a collaborative partnership with NEMCSA Early Head Start to perform installations by a certified car seat technician.
Car seat installs are held on a monthly basis. AAA of Michigan allows use of their garage for the inspection and installation of the car seats.
"Collaboration is the key to any successful program," according to Kristal Corrion, Do-Care Manager, "We can accomplish more for our community by working together." DO-ALL, INC.
The first installation of car seats will be installed on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from noon to 4 p.m. at the AAA of Michigan, 1111 S. Euclid Avenue, with other installation throughout the year.
Donations for Kids Arrive Safely are accepted. Due to Michigan's law, only new car seats are accepted. Financial donations are accepted as well.
