A Benefit for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation

Reunion Concert featuring Jeff Ott with special guests Rachel Garner & The DNA Chain: A Benefit for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation Friday, October 21, 2011 at 7:00 PM

Event held at The State Theater in Downtown Bay City.

Drawing on life's experiences, Jeff Ott uses inviting arrangements and moving lyrics to resurrect the 80's power ballad. Jeff's musical training began at age 4 with piano lessons and continued through his school age years when he began writing music at age 13. Since 2004, his keyboard talents fill out The Sinclairs Band, a local Tri-Cities staple for classic rock & serious fun.

Jeff draws from musical influences such as Chicago, Billy Joel, Phil Collins, Michael W. Smith and Bruce Hornsby. He has utilized those influences to create strong piano driven arrangements with smooth guitar solos and lush background vocals all that along with lyrics that draws on deep emotions and refreshing songs about life.

Jeff's solo debut album, A Simple Life was released on October 20th, 2006 to critical acclaim, including a 2006 Grammy Nomination

Rachael Garner is a singer/songwriter who has always had a song in her heart. She has been singing for most of her life and began to play the guitar when she was 13. In just a very short time, her skill for putting melodies together with passionate lyrics blossomed. Her music is a fusion of indie/pop, country and a little bit of R&B all mixed together. Her songs relate to many people because she likes to write about things that happen in everyday life. She hopes you like her music and are entertained with her show.

The DNA Chain is a band made up of a father and his four children. The Poirier family delivers a feel-good show with a rock and roll edge. Covering songs from the 60's through today, the band's repertoire ranges from easy acoustic melodies to rollicking in-your-face scorchers. The DNA Chain brings a new meaning to the old adage 'the family that plays together, stays together'
