State Representative Charles Brunner Reads "Corduroy's Christmas Surprise" to Children

Children at the Bay City Mall enjoyed cookies and hot cocoa as State Representative Charles Brunner and Sgt. Christopher Nowicki read Christmas stories during the story hour.

The Bay City Mall and Great Lakes Bay Media Group hosted the 4 week program leading up to Christmas.

Brunner said, "I like reading to kids, it's the former Teacher in me that likes being around kids," Brunner said. "Kids & Christmas is a great combination", added Brunner. Brunner, former Bay City Mayor, was a High School Teacher for 30 years.

Next Sunday, December 18, 2011 will be the last week before Christmas with SANTA himself as a special guest reader along with Miss Bay County Teen Jaeleen Davis.

The Story hour is for children of all ages and is held at 3:00pm in Center Food Court. Set the mood for Christmas and stop in and bring the kids in while Christmas shopping at the over 70 stores and shops offered at the Bay City Mall.

Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 3:00pm is the last story hour. The Traditional Christmas Story Hour was a 4 week program leading up to Christmas. Don't miss SANTA and Miss Bay County Teen Jaeleen Davis next week.
