The Case of the Missing Elizabeth Taylor Painting at BARTS in Bay City

The case of the missing Elizabeth Taylor painting was all over the news and face-book last week as Bay City BARTS on Midland Street offered a generous reward for any information given on a 6 foot stolen painting of Elizabeth Taylor.
BARTS is located on the Historical Midland Street on Bay City's West side at 804 E. Midland Street.


The questions many are wondering is how does one just walk out with a 6 foot tall, 3 foot wide painting ?


The acrylic painting of Elizabeth Taylor was located in the new Fire-Bar area of the restaurant and was noticed missing on Thanksgiving weekend.


A 36 inch plasma flat-screen TV was also stolen as well as some other items of significants.


According to Penny Warner, (BARTS Spokesperson)"It was there on Wednesday evening prior to Thanksgiving."

Recently Warner said, there have been some leads because of the publicity and she hopes to get the painting back.
