Veteran Wild Addiction pro-staffer Nic DiFilippo has a track record of consistent success on mature whitetails.

That record just got a little more consistent -- and a whole lot bigger.

DiFilippo was hunting southern Illinois with a muzzleloader during the first gun season when he dropped the biggest buck of his life.

"Nic's 'addiction' to mature whitetails, along with his passion for capturing it all on video, has him working on locating, growing, patterning, and hunting big bucks all year," stated Wild Addiction host Tim Roller. "For him to be rewarded with the best buck of his life this year just proves that good things happen to good people. I couldn't be happier for Nic!"

DiFilippo was hunting with his good friends Andy Melton and Jim Kuhlmann on their ground, a tradition they started a few years ago centered around the opener of the Illinois gun season. "I can't thank Jim and Andy, and their families, enough for their hospitality," commented DiFilippo. "I know the tremendous amount of time and effort they put into their ground, and for them to allow me to come hunt it means a lot to me. I don't take it for granted at all!"

"Viewers will once again be treated to some tremendous video from Nic in 2012," added Roller. "Not only will they see the hunt for this tremendous whitetail, they'll also get to see Nic's 10 year old daughter Kara take her first whitetail ever."

The hunt for DiFilippo's big buck will be featured on Tim Roller's Wild Addiction TV in 2012, and also on their newest Whitetail DVD release, due out in the spring of 2012. Currently, Tim Roller's Wild Addiction airs three times each week, from July through December, to over 27 million viewers nationally on Sportsman Channel. Tim Roller's Wild Addiction is also the lead show in the "Big Game Wednesday" block on Sportsman Channel, airing at 7:00pm est. For additional Wild Addiction show times please visit Wild Addiction on the web at www.wildaddiction.com, or on Facebook (search: Tim Roller's Wild Addiction).

About Tim Roller's Wild Addiction -- "Join host Tim Roller and the Wild Addiction pro-staff as they take you on 100% wild, fair-chase, hunting adventures. You'll experience that incredible feeling we all live for when a hunt is successful, as well as the equally incredible disappointment that comes with a hunt that ends "so close". We place a heavy emphasis on showing you what helps us be successful, so you can enjoy that same success when you go a field. If you live for "the rush" as much as we do, then join us each week as we fuel the ADDICTION that is up-close, in your face, mature whitetail archery hunting.

The time has come. . . . Get Addicted!"
