"If the first night is any indication," said Michigan Idol Emcee Josh Sharrow, "Season Three at Willew is going to be a great 10 weeks of singing, entertainment & competition."

Sharrow was talking about the talented singers who gathered at Willew Lounge on Midland Road on Wednesday night to compete for Michigan Idol title. "The singers came out of the gate with some great performances," said O.J. Cunningham, one of the events' organizers. There wasn't a bad performance all night."

First night contestants were: Jesse Fisher, Chuck Kirkbride, Brandy Adams, Jada Archer, Allie Shermetaro, Amanda Glashauser, Stephanie Petrimoulx, Marty Hofelich, Renee Pawleski, Adam Simmons, Jessica Rex, Morgan Hawkins and Brad Neal

THE PRIZE: SEASON Three's Grand Prize, courtesy of Millars TV & Appliance is a 50"+ Plasma Flat-Screen TV with X-BOX 360 & Games Courtesy of GAME ON in Bay City.

Judges for the first night of karaoke were Attorney Jason Gower, nationally renowned musician Bruce LaFrance and MyBayCity Publisher O. J. Cunningham.

Contestants are scored on: Appearance, Stage Presence, Vocal Ability, Crowd Reaction, Song Knowledge and Over All Attitude. Total scores from the contestant's best 5 weeks are totaled to determine the ultimate winner of Contest.

Sign up and warm-ups are held every week from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Competition starts promptly at 8:00pm sharp.

Don't' miss all the fun and excitement every Wednesday at the Willew Lounge starting at 7:00pm. Come early for dinner, and claim a front row seat for the MICHIGAN IDOL singing competition!
