Winter has finally hit mid-Michigan! The Bay County Library System has two great programs for adults and teens to beat the winter blues and be in the running to win a prize!
Now through March 3, adults are challenged to "Chill Out & Read" 5 books of their choosing. Then, simply fill out a short entry form and submit it at any of the system's public service desks by March 3!
The "Chilly Reads" program asks teens (grades 6-12 only) to fill out one reading log for every book they read and return to any service desk. Teens may enter as many times as they wish by March 3 for a chance to win a $10 Target gift card!
Having trouble getting out of the house? Did you receive a Kindle, eReader or mp3 device as a gift recently? With your library card number and PIN, you can check out and download eBooks and eAudiobooks from our OverDrive website at baycountylibrary.lib.overdrive.com.
With the cold weather at hand, you may stay warm and use Wirt Library's convenient drive-up window. Just arrange your pick-up in advance by calling 893-9566, by placing a hold for an item online, or requesting in person at any branch.
Our staff is ready to help if you have any questions! Wirt Library pick-up window hours are Mon-Fri 11 am-1 pm, Mon-Thu 4 pm-7 pm, and Sat & Sun - window closed. For more information, please contact your branch library or visit www.baycountylibrary.org.
