Record Breaking Attendance Recorded at The Dow Event Center

he Dow Event Center, a SMG managed facility announced today that over the last 2 weeks, January 25th through February 5th over 45,000 patrons passed through the venue.
Starting the time span was Broadway in Saginaw Series presenting Color Purple in Heritage Theater and Harlem Globetrotters in Wendler Arena.
Eric Church played to a sold out crowd to kick off the weekend followed by the Saginaw Spirit OHL Hockey game which was preceded by a record breaking attendance for the MCVI Shocks'n Saves charity hockey game which pitted Doctors and EMTs against one another to raise awareness and funds to purchase heart defibrillators.
The 69th Annual Shrine Circus had over 30,000 attendees with 3 sold out shows at their 9 performances over a 4 day period with 2 held on Saturday, February 4th allowing only an hour in between for The Dow staff to change over and clean the arena.
Events during the week included Get It Girl Network featuring Tasha Smith, United Sisters in Christ annual luncheon and the Saginaw Chamber of Commerce presented the annual State of City, State of County address at their monthly Percolator Breakfast.
