Each and every Wednesday in Wenonah Park in Bay City, BAC and it's group of generous sponsors will host various entertainment acts ranging from comedians, bands, dance academies, and much more.

The events start every week at 6PM, are absolutely free to attend, and fun for the whole family.

This past Wednesday evening was jazz themed, kicking off with jazz bands from local high schools Garber, Central, and Western all performing for a generous crowd.

After the bands were finished with their performance the Perry Woodard School of Dance put on quite the show for those in attendance. Dancers of all age groups performed in front of the live audience, spinning, kicking, and tapping their way in to the hearts of onlookers. (For more information on the Perry Woodard School of Dance and the type of programs they offer, please visit their website at www.perrywoodard.com.)

Once the dancers had cleared the stage it was time for Sarah and the Groove to wow the crowd. Headlined by Sarah Schingeck, who performs in a variety of local acts ranging from solo acoustic to full band line ups, The Groove is a band that comprises various local musicians who have an established history of playing in the local music scene over the last five decades.

Closing the evening was the band Soul Xpress, a funk/soul band that features a line-up of respected musicians. Their rumbling bass work, chopping rhythm riffs, gritty lead vocals, high pitched singing, and their precision timing echoed through Wenonah Park as guests danced along with the music.

Next week, on June 27th, Cougar Ace will warm up the crowd at 6PM followed by Doug Varty, a Rod Stewart tribute artist.
