Wilfred -- Thursday Night at 10:00pm on FX
Wikipedia Cliff Notes: The show follows a young man named Ryan (Elijah Wood) and his neighbor's dog Wilfred (Jason Gann). At first Ryan is suicidal, attempting to kill himself several times in the first episode. Ryan's female neighbor, Jenna (Fiona Gubelmann), asks him to look after her dog for the day.
Ryan is taken aback as he sees Wilfred as an Australian man in a dog suit, while everyone else sees Wilfred as just a dog.
If you've got a dog . . . ever had a dog . . . or maybe even run over a dog in a drunken stupor . . . set the DVR and take a chance to see if Wilfred might just be your kind of dirt to dig in.
Bunheads -- Monday Night 9:00pm ABCFamily
If you're not watching Bunheads, you're missing the boat. If you had any time back a few years for Gilmore Girls, then this sharp little Summer morsel is for you.

I almost "blew it off" because it was on playing on ABC's Family Channel. But don't let the "goody-two-shoes" advertising promo fool you. There's an edge here.
HERE'S THE WIKIPEDIA CLIFF NOTES:
"Bunheads is the tale of Michelle Simms, a former ballerina 'bunhead' who wound up a Las Vegas showgirl. Seeing her life and career at a dead end, she impulsively takes up the offer of marriage from her persistent admirer, Hubbell Flowers, and moves to his sleepy coastal town, Paradise. Once there, Michelle winds up teaching alongside her mother-in-law, Fanny, at her ballet school: the Paradise Dance Academy."
It's written by Gilmore Girls' Amy Sherman-Palladino. (That's a GOOD THING) They've mad seven episodes. You missed the first three -- June 11, 18, 25. -- Find the rest on Monday night. Go back and watch the first three before July 2.
In another three weeks, this will either achieve likability or will become annoying like so many other Summer start-up projects.
Kyra Sedgwick
THE CLOSER 9:00pm Monday TNT -- TNT's Landmark Series, The Closer Reaches Powerful Conclusion With Six Final Episodes, Beginning Monday, July 9 and ending August 13. I used to be a REALLY BIG FAN of Brenda Leigh Johnson (Kyra Sedgwick). Now all I think is . . . "Run Fritz, Run. Don't marry that crazy #*@^&.
But after seven years, I'm sure one day, (Maybe in 2015) I'll look back and wonder whatever happened to Brenda Leigh Johnson.
Nahhhhhhhhh!
