If you thought it was a good idea to arrive "fashionably late" to the Great Lakes Bay Regional Business After Hours on Wednesday night . . . You thought WRONG!
Technically . . . the event was scheduled from 5-7:00pm at the Bay City Country Club located out on three-mile in Frankenlust Township.
By 4:15pm, half the parking lot was full.
By 5:15pm, cars were strung out almost a mile on three-mile road . . . just waiting to get in line to park.
"Advance sales for tickets was over 900," said Bay City Country Club's Jim "Jimski" Kruszynski, as he watched the parade of cars continue to cover the parking lots like locusts.
"We're ready for this," Jimski laughed. "It's gonna be an event to remember for anybody that makes it inside," he yelled back, as he hustled off to help with the on-coming traffic.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for Diversified Group to meet and greet the business community of the Great Lakes Bay Region," said Joel Wilson, President and Executive Principal at Diversified Group.
Wilson pointed out that his goal for the night was to make sure that people in attendance got to know that Diversified Group was more than just a construction company. "We're here tonight to meet the business community and to let everyone know who we are and what we do," Wilson went on.
Diversified Group, whose HQ is in the Great Lakes Bay Region employs over 70 people in seven locations, 4 in Michigan.
Inside, the activity level was buzzing. Country Club's Wendy Dore was passing out souvenir hats and directing new arrivals to food and drink stations. And again and again, she explained the process to win $10,000 dollars at the end of the night.
