Downtown Bay City Sidewalk Days July 19, 20 & 21, 2012 Once again it's time for another summertime tradition in Bay City - Sidewalk Days! Over the years, whether in good or bad economic times, everyone enjoys the "hunt" for a great find and an even better bargain. And strolling through a beautiful riverfront community is the icing on the cake!

Originally titled Sidewalk Sales, this traditional July promotion has evolved into an event over the last decade with a variety of activities added by the Downtown Management Board and merchants.

"Not only does the local community mark their summer calendar for Sidewalk Days, we're seeing more visitors from outside the area drawn to our city because of the event," says Candace Bales, Executive Director of the Downtown Management Board and Development Authority.

Thirty-eight businesses are participating this year and their special activities during the 3-day event include ... Little House is selling Lemon "aide" for a great cause in a reusable tumbler.

Receive a free kiddie ice cream cone with purchase of any hot dog or coney basket at Rudy's Red Lion Diner.

Create your own ice cream sundae at Downtown's newest business, ThunderBrew Coffee Company!
