BeMo's, located at 701 S. Madison, on Bay City's east side, is always a wonderful spot to hear some music. No cover, live music 7 nights a week and always fun.
[Whether it be enjoying a great band, art or partaking in one of Michigan's many summer festivals, there is certainly not a lack of places to go and events to attend in our area. Stay tuned weekly to mybaycity.com. Every Thursday, I'll give you my take on some fun things to do and where my travels might take me!]
So...what's on my agenda for this weekend?? Well, let's see...
It's a bit quieter in Bay City this weekend, so my activities will follow suit.
Thursday, July 19, 2012 you may find me at
Lucky's Pub on Midland St., in Bay City, MI. Lucky's hosts their weekly
Bike Night from 6pm-2am. A beautiful summer night is a great time to hang out on their deck and enjoy drinks specials until 8pm, as well as get a look at all the different bikes.
The band
Rhythm House plays at
BeMo's Friday night. BeMo's, located at 701 S. Madison, on Bay City's east side, is always a wonderful spot to hear some music. No cover, live music 7 nights a week and always fun.
Saturday, weather permitting, sounds like the perfect time to have dinner on the deck at
Castaways located along the Kawkawlin River at Boy Scout Rd and State Park Dr. Great for boat watching and enjoying dinner outside, they also offer live bands on Saturday night.
This particular Saturday at Castaways, is the
John Glenn High School All Class Reunion. Planned by former John Glenn alumni, this informal gathering is open to all former JG classes and friends. Being I happen to be a Bobcat myself, I'm sure I'll see some folks I know.
If farther north sounds more appealing, catch
The Steel Wheels Band Friday and Saturday, at St. Michael's Festival in Pinconning, MI.
After a $1 burger at
O'Hare's on Midland St., Sunday's agenda may also include back to school shopping at
Bay City Mall on Wilder Rd. The shelves are already filled with notebooks and pencils and the school season will be back before we know it.
So, enjoy the summer while we still have it!
