Taylor Swift's brand new single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," was only released on Monday (August 13th) evening and immediately jumped to the top of the iTunes chart.

Kix Brooks will release his solo debut album, New to This Town, on September 11th. The next day (September 12th), he'll perform his latest single and the album's title-track on ABC's Good Morning America.

Love and Theft top the Billboard and Country Aircheck singles charts with "Angel Eyes," the debut release from their new self-titled CD. This is Love and Theft's first Number One. The news comes just days after Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles learned that "Angel Eyes" had been certified gold for sales of 500,000 downloads.

Scotty McCreery had a bit of a misstep over the weekend. He was on stage performing during the Brad Paisley-headlined Virtual Reality tour when he fell off the stage in mid-song in Bethel, New York on Friday (August 10th). Scotty quickly returned to the stage and barely missed a beat. Far be it from Brad, however, to let that mistake pass by unnoticed. On Saturday (August 11th), decorated that particular part of the stage with orange cones and caution tape. Scotty tweeted a picture of the prank writing, "@BradPaisley wanted me to be extra cautious tonight! Thanks Brad!"

And finally George Jones will mark the end of an era with a farewell tour for his fans called The Grand Tour. After over fifty years of touring, George has decided he is ready to slow down and spend more time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Jones said, "It is tough to stop doing what I love, but the time has come".
