LastChoiceCountry INTERNET Radio and MyBayCity have planned a "WOOF SIT" on the roof at Millar's Appliance in October to raise money for the local Humane Society.
Event organizer Josh Sharrow says the he and Shawn Doyle (Josh & Shawn in the Morning) will be lifted onto the roof at Millar's on Friday morning and will stay on the roof for 36 hours to raise funds for the animal group.
"We're hoping to raise between $2,000 and $5,000 for the Humane Society of Bay County," said Sharrow. Sharrow said that LastChoiceCountry listeners and readers of MyBayCity will all be able to take part in the fundraising effort.

The Humane Society of Bay County was formed in November 1984 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized a need within our community. Since that time, the organization has acted as the animal advocate in our community. Your support continues to be our inspiration as we look forward to a future of improved welfare for all animals.
