Protect yourself from identity theft!
Jeff Hunt, a Bay City State Farm Agent, will be sponsoring an opportunity to have your sensitive documents such as old bank statements and tax returns shredded into pulp for recycling while you watch on closed circuit TV.
The event is free, and will be held on Saturday, September 22nd from 10 AM ? 1 PM in the K-Mart parking lot at Euclid and Wilder. Visit with the live State Farm ?Good NeighBEAR? character and receive free information about identity theft and recycling.
Event organizers will be accepting tax deductible donations in support of the USS Edson, Bay City?s new naval ship museum.
There is no need to remove staples, paper clips, clamps, or binders, and CD?s can be shredded too. Only residential shredding can be accepted and there is a limit of 2 bags/boxes.
