Q: How long have you been with your company/organization?
A: Since 2005 (7 years).

Q: How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador?
A: 5 years

Q: What do you like about being an ambassador?
A: My absolute favorite part are the Ribbon Cuttings. We as Ambassadors see all the new businesses coming the Great Lakes Bay Region and learn what their businesses are about. We learn how they got started and how the inside of their business looks. I just love to tell my friends about a new business Grand Openings.

Q: Tell me something about yourself.
A: I like remodeling, painting, changing furniture and fixing houses up. I love to cut the grass in the spring when it's green because it smells so good. I consider myself a hard working employee. I really love my job and try to put my best ability into my work.

Q: Tell me something you would like the membership to know about you.
A: In my spare time, I enjoy riding my Harley Davidson. I am part of an all girl group called Sirens. We do two charity events a year and have raised a lot money for those charities.

Q: What was your first job?
A: My first co-op job was working in the embroidery aisle at Czuba's on Columbus Avenue here in Bay City.

Q: What is your greatest achievement?
A: Winning my election for Treasurer of Monitor Township.

Q: What is your most prized possession?
A: My family! And, I will be a grandma for the first time in September 2012.

Q: What is something unique in your office?
A: I have a large Pike on my wall. It makes quite the conversation piece as taxpayers come to the window to pay. Being my last name is PIKE...LOL!

Q: What is your favorite thing to do in the Great Lakes Bay Region?
A: That's a tough question...so many things, but my favorite is the Fourth of July events. I love seeing all the people come here to watch the most awesome display of fireworks and all the events scheduled for those 3 days.

Q: What is your favorite Michigan travel location?
A: I really love to travel to the Charlevoix and Petoskey areas. The hills, scenery, shopping, and lakes. If you go during the Fall, the colors are amazing and that's why they call Michigan, God's Country. It's beautiful!
