Be sure to mark your calendars for this year's annual River of Time Living History Encampment, which will be held on September 29th-30th at Veterans Memorial Park in Bay City. The event is a "timeline" of historic eras, with first-person portrayals from Native American, French Canadian, Colonial, War of 1812, Civil War, World War I, World War II and Vietnam War time periods. Admission is free again this year, although donations are welcome and very much appreciated! Sponsorships and donations are vital to the continued success of this event.

New activities this year will be demonstrations that highlight cannon fire, colonial weapon firing, civil weapon firing-and even a tomahawk throw.

Another new feature will be a fly-over featuring World War II vintage airplanes, an event you will not want to miss!

For more information or to see a Schedule of Events visit the River of Time website. (Note: events and times may be subject to change).
