Robert D. Hansen, President & CEO, Dow Corning Corporation, will keynote "Bay Area...On the Go!", Thursday, October 4th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bay City-Riverfront Conference Center.
The 2012 version of "Bay Area...On the Go!" is a salute to Bay Area manufacturing. "Manufacturing: A New World of Opportunity: is this year's brand.
The Bay Area Development Expo will open at 9:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m., a special forum featuring Michael Johnson, Vice President, Michigan Manufacturers Association and Joe Mazzeo, General Manager, General Motors Powertrain-Bay City will be moderated by Bay Cast, Inc. President, Max Holman.
WNEM TV5 is producing a special video for the program entitled, "Built by the Bay: The Importance of Manufacturing to the Bay Area". Development awards will be presented to five manufacturers to recognize their significant investments in their businesses and, therefore, in the Bay Area.
A special award will also be presented to a community development organization to recognize their important involvement in the positive development of the Bay Area.
WNEM TV5's, Eric Jylha will serve as Emcee.
"Bay Area...On the Go!" is the premier economic development program in the Bay Area.
