So, what's on my agenda this weekend?

Well, let's see...

It's that time of year again for the Downtown Divas! Thursday, October 11, 2012 enjoy Cocktails in the City...check out accessories, fashions, appetizers, wine sampling, goody bags and giveaways! It's always a fun and festive night.

This year it will be held at the Kingfish Restaurant & Tiki Lounge, 1019 N. Water Street, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. It's a great opportunity to relax with friends and see what's new in fashion for the Fall. Tickets: $10 each or Two for $15, This event will have a cash bar.

Saturday, enjoy Fashion & French Toast with a bountiful breakfast buffet and a runway fashion show highlighting fall and holiday fashion and accessories from Downtown boutiques. Attendees will receive a Goody Bag filled with coupons and surprises. This will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton at Bay City Riverfront, One Wenonah Park Place, 9 to 11 am (doors open at 8:30 am.) Tickets: $22.

All thru the weekend event (Thursday-Sunday), shoppers will be treated to special offers and activities at many of the downtown stores. For more information contact Bay City Downtown Management Board at 989.893.3573.

If it's music you're looking for, check out Bay Lanes Sabre Room at 4243 N. Euclid Ave., Bay City, MI for The Sinclairs Band. They will be playing old and new classic rock on Friday and Saturday nights from 9:00pm - 1:15am.

I always find it fascinating to step inside some of our historical homes in Bay City and this Sunday, October 14, 2012 will be no exception with the annual Tour of Homes which goes from 11:00am - 5:00pm. Tickets are $12/Advance or $15/Day of Tour.
