Bay County Commission Candidates to Attend Forum at Fremont Center

The South End Citizens District Council will hold a candidate's forum Thursday October 18, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Bay County Child and Senior Center, the old Fremont School, located at 1001 Marsac Street.

This forum will be the general election on Nov. 6 for the Bay County County Commission candidates in the seven Districts in Bay County.

Twelve of the 14 Candidates have confirmed that they will be attending. This is the sixth year that the South End Citizens District Council has hosted these Candidate Forums for the voting public to better learn of the candidates running for office.

Refreshments will be provided by the Bay/Arenac Great Start Program and campaign literature will be available for the public.

Thomas Baird, Chairman of the South End CDC again will serve as moderator of the Forum.

Candidates will make opening statements, answer questions that have been presented to them prior to the Forum and then answer questions from the moderator that have been submitted by the general public.

The Forum will close with the candidates making closing statements.

Questions may be submitted to the Moderator at baycityump@yahoo.com prior to October 18 to be used at Forum.
