Bay City Central's Varsity Cheerleaders soared in the Wolf Pack Cheer Invitational, placing first with a final score of 736.44. Schools from around the state gathered at Central to take part in the Invitational, with a total of fifteen schools attending. Team manager Olivia Grocholski expressed her confidence in the team even before they performed, "I think they are going to be awesome- I think they are going to stand out today." Grocholski's predictions were confirmed from the get go, with the team receiving the highest total score for the first two rounds of the competition. When discussing her individual performance, Urban stated "I did good, I had lots of adrenaline." Urban noted that one thing she needs to work on is to "keep yelling" while Charbonneau said that one way she could improve was to "hit motions harder at the end of the routine."
