Danica Patrick -- Daytona 500 (2013)
Ain't That A Pisser?
It's Daytona 500 (2013) weekend at the Cunningham household.
I'm "all in" with a Danica-Mania.
The 55th running of NASCAR's Daytona 500.
I am taping this event -- It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
First thing this morning, I made room for a 2013 Daytona 500 Race Tape -- right next to my year-by-year collection of Joey Chestnut food-binge victories at Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest -- every Fourth of July at Coney Island, New York.
Holy Crap . . . Clay Cook (Zac Brown Band) and Erin Andrews -- on the same pre-race show on FOX TV. If there was any question concerning the historic significance of the day . . . get over it.
NASCAR fans go "all in" for this "biggest race of the year."
Like you, I painted my neck red on Saturday night . . . just to get in the mood.
Like you, I stuffed every open space in the fridge with Budweiser. (The Official Race Sponsor)
Like you, I got bags of chips and all kinds of dip within 10 feet of where I'm sitting until they wave the checkered flag.
And it worked . . . I got my game-face on.
This morning in the shower, I came up with the "perfect" Country song title for a Daytona 500 weekend..
SONG TITLE: Ain't That A Pisser?
I'm gonna need some help with lyrics. I'm pretty sure that Bellsmith, Sharrow, Atchinson, Doyle, Vitany, Armstrong, Melissa May, Swaggering Rogues, Lauren Thomas and others will be happy to help -- I'm thinking in the style of Alanis Morissette.
If you have any lyric ideas . . . just enter them in the comments . . . And yes . . . (of course) I'll be donating 10% of all royalties to Brian Martindale at Kharma, Inc.
Gotta go . . . It's RACE TIME . . . .
