When you're diagnosed with cancer, money is usually not the first thing that comes to mind. You may not want to think about it right now or even during your treatment, it all can seem so overwhelming. It takes time and energy to manage your bills, insurance, and finances even in the best of health.

When you figure cancer into that equation, now you have to deal with escalating medical bills, prescription & insurance coverage, navigating hospital services and having legal forms, such as Advance Directives completed. These stressors are compounded when you continue to have your daily living expenses.

There are many financial resources available to help you and your family deal with the mounting costs that can come with this disease, and there are many people who want to help you. Financial stress is a real concern while fighting cancer and you are not alone.
