On Friday, May 31st, the Bay County Fairgrounds served as host venue for the much anticipated reunion performance of local rock legends Raggedy Ann at the inaugural "U Rock Fest". Saginaw based Trippy Ramble opened the night with excellent versions of hits from Megadeth, Iron Maiden and Metallica before headliners Raggedy Ann took the stage and exceeded all expectations with their high energy stage presence and rousing renditions of 80's classics from artists including Rainbow, Badlands, Journey and more.

Bay City native Scott Fudge made the trek north from Detroit just for this special show and said "From Dio to Whitesnake, nobody does it better than Raggedy Ann, they definitely did not disappoint."

"It has been many years since we last played Bay City and we are extremely appreciative for the incredible support we experienced here tonight. It was a true party and we, as a band, had an absolute blast" commented vocalist Brian Carson following the performance.

To add to the excitement of the evening Raggedy Ann announced that they will be sharing the stage with Slaughter, Great White and Queensryche on August 22nd at the brand new FirstMerit Event Park outdoor venue across from the Dow Event Center in Saginaw.

For more information and future performance dates for both Trippy Ramble and Raggedy Ann follow the bands on their respective facebook pages.
