If you're looking for folksy toe-tappers, sentimental melodies or moody, bordering on dark, musical creations, look no further than the new CD written, produced and performed by local singer songwriter, Jeff Yantz.

Jeff Yantz, Singer-Songwriter

'That's the All of It', the new 10 track CD follow up to Yantz's 'Dance In The Rain' boasts an eclectic ménage of songs supported by the musical stylings of many local and hugely talented performers such as, Kevin Spear, Kyle Spear, Andrew Rogers, Andy Reed and Jeff Schrems, to name just a few. Even Yantz's young daughter Ella, got in on the act with some of the background vocals.

Yantz explains, "I think my current sound results from an affection for warm tube sound boards, ribbon mics, the great musicians I've been able to learn from and my love for living in this area".

Produced by Yantz's White Trash Studios and mastered at Reed Recording Studios, the CD brings a wide range of emotions to the listener's ear.

"The CD is made to be listened to from start to finish and yes, each song stands on its own but the feel the listener can get after listening to all 10 tracks and 35 minutes, is exciting to me" remarked Yantz.

He adds, "I wanted this project to feel like an album. I may be showing my age when I say "album", but with the resurgence of vinyl in the last few years, I think people will get it".

To hear this personable and highly talented musician and some of the new songs off 'That's the All of It', check out the Governor's Quarter's taproom at 1304 S. Wenona St. at 8:30 pm. on Friday, February 21, 2014.

The Governor's Quarters is located on Bay City's west side and offers 20 different taps, as well as many Michigan made liquors and wines.
