Downtown Bay City to host the 7th Annual Wine Walk!

7th Annual Wine Walk is Thursday, September 22nd
 

Join fellow wine connoisseurs in downtown Bay City for the 7th Annual Wine Walk Thursday, September 22, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

The tradition continues when 15 of Bay City's finest restaurants and pubs come together to offer an evening of fine wines, delicious food and good friends in Historic Downtown Bay City.
This year's event starts with ticket validation and receipt of a commemorative wine glass at the State Theatre (913 Washington Ave.) from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. This event highlights fine wines from a variety of regions around the world. There's a unique and exquisite sampling of wines and hors d'oeurves waiting around the corner at each of the following establishments:


    Atrium, 1100 N. Water Street
    Bay City Elks Club, 306 Fifth Street
    Café Appareil, 201 Center Avenue
    The Chambers, 816 Saginaw Street
    Doubletree Hotel, One Wenonah Park Place
    * G's Pizzeria & Deli, 1005 Saginaw Street
    Gatsby's Saloon & Eatery,203 Center Avenue
    Jake's Corner Bar, 114 Third Street
    Kingfish Restaurant & Tiki Lounge, 1019 Water Street
    Mulligan's Pub, 109 Center Avenue
    Old City Hall, 814 Saginaw Street
    * The Plaza Hotel, 501 Saginaw Street
    Princess Wenonah, departing from Wenonah Park
    Stein Haus, 1108 Water Street
    Strikers, 1203 Washington Avenue

    (*Establishment may be servicing wine for event, dependent upon transfer of liquor license.)

Also serving special treats during the walk are: Water Front Market & Deli, 925 Water St.; The Sweet Boutique, 214 Center Ave.; and St. Laurent Brothers, 1101 Water St.

There will be music in the streets during the event. Entertainment includes: Greg Barber, Acoustic Guitar & Accordian; Randy Chandler, Acoustic Guitar; The Last, Acoustic Folk & Rock; and Sonas, Dulcimer, Flute & Guitar.

Two samplings of wine, plus hors d'oeurves from regions around the world will be served at each location to those that attend the event. Tickets are on sale for $25 and can be purchased at participating establishments while supplies last.
