The Opportunity Connection website is a free resource for teachers, students, employers and parents. It offers hundreds of opportunities provided by over 50 local employers such as job shadowing, field trips, mentoring, career day speakers and resources. Opportunity Connection, an interactive website, is a highly structured site, which offers links to additional resources and information related to youth and education.
A beneficial feature of the site is the Resource Exchange. Resource Exchange allows teachers to post specific needs for their classrooms.

CNC Machine
Western High School is in need of a small or desktop CNC machine to introduce students to the concepts of CNC machining.

Western High School needs a time clock that would use ink to create a time/date stamp on a time card.

Headphones and Headphone Jacks Needed
Western Middle School is in need of 16 headphones and 4 headphone jacks so small group work on the computer can be offered at school.

iPad Air - White
Macgregor Elementary school is in need of an iPad Air in the color white. This would be a separate iPad will enable me to stay logged on and use it to project information to the students, show presentations and use it as an interactive tool during mini-lessons and small group teaching. It will also free up an iPad for a student.

Gas Station Gift Cards
Bay City Public Schools Co-Op Education Department is in need of gas cards to help low income students offset travel costs to and from employment; and to offset our Co-Op program travel expenses, while checking on student employees.

iPad Mini
Western Middle School is in need of 2 iPad Minis to have a complete set of 8 for their Science class. The iPads provide access to the internet and educational apps that Apple provides that are used in labs and in classroom instruction.
