The first scan was performed the day she began Chiropractic care. At that time she had been suffering from moderate-severe low back pain, fatigue and was losing strength in her legs. She used to walk for miles and participated in various moderately physical activities. She stopped walking miles for exercise each day and stopped venturing out because she would become exhausted easily and also was afraid of falling about a year ago. The patient reported on her first visit that she thought she was slowly going to become an "invalid" and that she would be wheel chair bound in a few years.
As you can tell from the first scan (which had a total energy reading of 247.7) her body and nervous system were in a state of Dis-ease (lack of ease, nerve interference, body not functioning correctly). As you can see, most of the interference was located in the neck. How does the neck affect the low back?
If you look at the nerve system, it is like a wire from the brain to the rest of the body. The nerves that go to the legs from the brain have to pass through the neck, via the spinal cord. If the bone misaligns in the neck, it can interfere with the signal sent down those nerves and the body will not work right.
The second scan was taken 5 months into care. As you can tell from the second scan which had a total energy reading of 89.27, her body is working better! The score decreases because the scan is reading energy produced in a stressed system. We are still working at it and maintaining progress.
Today, she has a little stiffness in the morning but the moderate-severe pain has decreased. She doesn't fatigue as easily and has regained almost all the strength in her legs that she lost over a year ago. The patient states she feels like she has a new lease on life, and is hopeful about getting around in the years to come. She started walking for exercise again about 6 weeks ago and has lost 20 pounds in that time. I was honored to care for her as she completed her recommended plan of care, and she lives an hour each way from Bay City! She brings me donuts and calls me her grandson! Man I love my job!
