New Director Announced for McLaren Bay Foundation

Alice Gerard, President/CEO, McLaren Bay Region, announced on June 2nd that Konnie Gill is the new Director of McLaren Bay Medical Foundation. For the past 16 years, Konnie has held the position of Physician Recruiter for McLaren Bay Region.
Konnie has been a very active community volunteer for over 30 years, participating in many fundraising events throughout the county. As past President of the Dow Bay Area Family Y, Konnie was very involved in the planning and successful construction of their new building on Washington Avenue.
Konnie has also actively participated in the following organizations: United Way of Bay County, The Eric James Memorial Scholarship Fund, Saginaw Bay Symphony Tour of Homes, McLaren Bay Region Charity Ball, McLaren Bay Region Auxiliary, Bay County Tour of Homes, Leadership Bay County, and was a Loaned Executive with the United Way of Bay County. Konnie is currently on the Board of the Marshall Fredericks Sculpture Museum at Saginaw Valley State University.
In 2006 Konnie was awarded the Liberty Bell by the Bay County Bar Association for outstanding community leadership. Konnie was born and raised in Bay City and has lived here her entire life.
Konnie and her husband, Harry, reside in Bay City and have five children: Luke, Rose, Ben, Anthony and Maria.
