Making a List -- Santa Claus is Coming To Town
Santa and Mrs. Claus make there entrance into Downtown Bay City at Wenonah Park on Friday, November 25, 2005 at 7:00 p.m.
Santa's Arrival will also kick off The Festival of Lights. MC's for this year's event will be Eric Jylha from WNEM TV-5and Bob Hughes from WHNN 96. While children are awaiting the arrival of the jolly couple, Bay City Players will perform a glimpse of the Christmas Schooner and Miss Bay County 2005, Cristy Bouckaert, will sing America the Beautiful.
Kids, bring your flashlights and help safely guide the way for Santa's Sleigh!!
McDonald's Restaurant, located at 314 Washington Avenue, will graciously be providing free beverages, and St. Laurent Brothers and The Bay City Times will be providing holiday treats for the children.
Immediately following the program, Santa and Mrs. Claus will proceed to the
Delta College Planetarium, located at 100 Center Avenue, where they will meet and greet children until 9:00 p.m. Parents don't forget those cameras.
Santa's Arrival is a Toys for Tots event. Visitors to Wenonah Park are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to the Toys for Tots Program of Bay County.
